Batchelor

Recently, I received a large amount of burl maple from a friend who originally intended to use it for antler mount plates.  Let's just say I have enough of the burl maple to last a long, long time if only used for net handles!  I chose to use some of it for this net handle and was not disappointed!  I've also been on a bubinga kick for these custom wood landing nets, so I used it and some walnut for the center laminations of the handle.  The red of the bubinga shines great in the light.  Hoop is made of curly maple, wenge, maple, sapele, and bubinga.
