These two nets were commissioned as a gift to a brother and father. Pieces of a fiddleback myrtlewood slab I had were chosen for the handles. This wood, while not the best smelling when sanded, looks amazing after finish is applied! The variations in color and figure are astonishing! Both nets have fiddleback myrtlewood, curly maple, and walnut handles. The smaller net has a hoop made from canarywood, wenge, maple, and bubinga. The larger net's hoop is made of curly maple, sapele, maple, wenge, and bubinga.
